Preface
So far in my Academic career, writing narratives are one of my favorite things to write. One of the blog post we had to do was Blog number 6 telling-myself-a-different-story.html. In This blog post we were to create a story from the previous Blog, Blog 5 composing-an-emotional-scene-with-dialogue-and-symbolism.html. In Blog 5 we were to tell an emotional time in your life. And in blog post 6 we were to tell an alternate story to Blog 5.
When you write a narrative you have a whole world to write about. You can write about anything you want. It’s a story, make it weird. I remember writing a narrative when I was in sixth grade about going to the zoo and letting all the animals out. I also remember writing another one even earlier when I was in the fourth grade. It was about me becoming an astronaut and I explored space. It was some of my favorite writing to do because you can write about anything.
Some famous celebrities write narratives with a theme or a message hidden within it. Like Madonna, she wrote a story called The English Rose. It was about an outside girl named Binah who inspires jealousy in four other girls because they believe she leads the perfect life. But the theme of the story is that Binah was based on Madonna’s daughter who is lonely. Even John Travolta wrote a narrative called Propeller One-Way Night Coach. It was about an eight year old boy on his first flight, it was from Newark to Los Angeles. While on the flight, he met a concentration camp survivor and a ten foot tall man. You see, that’s why narratives are my favorite piece of writing to write.
